I AM CURRENTLY PUTTING TOGETHER A INTRODUCTION WORK SHOP TO TEACH YOU HOW TO SET UP AND GROW YOUR OWN MICROGREENS. PEA, RADISH, SUNFLOWER AND WHEAT GRASS TO START WITH. CLASSES BEGIN IN DECEMBER!
STARTING NOVEMBER I WILL BE STEPPING BACK FROM GROWING HARVESTED MICROGREENS .
Microgreens and sprouts are diverse in nutrient density, containing multiple vitamins, proteins, amino acids, and trace elements. Growing healthy food is our primary focus. The ingredients used to grow your food, are your food.
The seeds we use are all organically grown and non GMO. They are currently being grown in peat agro mix enriched with organic composts. No pesticides or sprays.
Freshness is also very important. Crops are harvested on Thursdays and ready for delivery on Fridays.
MICROGREENS are vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and leafy greens, usually harvested after two or three weeks of growth. Typically after the first set of true leaves appear. Microgreens are grown under lights in soil, hydroponically or by using different types of grow mats.
SPROUTS are the first stage of growth for a seed. Grown using water , ready to harvest in 4 to 11 days.
